The Foundation and Women in Philanthropy are honored to host Hadassah Lieberman at the 4th annual Healthy Future for Women Luncheon. The event will take place at the St. Petersburg Carillon Hilton on November 11, 2010.

Past luncheon speakers include Elizabeth Edwards, Rue McCalnahan, Priscilla Mack, Claudia Bundschu, M.D. and Antonio Gayoso, M.D.

More About Hadassah Lieberman

Hadassah Freilich Lieberman has dedicated much of her life's work to health issues, assisting non-profit organizations, imporving educational standards and promoting international understanding. Her focus on global women's health issues has reinforced her belief that health diplomacy is of utmost importance: and that prevention and treatment of women's health problems builds a natural commonality.  Her international focus has included microfinance projects which are improving the social status of women as they alleviate poverty.

Most recently, Mrs. Lieberman has joined Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists. As a Global Ambassador with Komen for the Cure's Glabal Initiative for Breast Cancer, she works to create sustainable breast cancer outreach and education programs around the world.

Mrs. Lieberman is married to Senator Joseph Lieberman and Connecticut who was the Democratic vice-presidential candidate in the 2000 election. They have four children and six grandchildren.
