Every year on the first Thursday of December, high up on the rooftop of St. Anthony’s Hospital the tree is lit. 275 of our Foundation friends crowd the rooftop, making it a holiday tradition for many in St. Petersburg.
Realizing these lights are a symbol of love, we ask God's blessing on them. Each of these lights were given in honor or in memory of someone we love and care for – both living and deceased. We also ask His blessing on on our community. As this tree stands over the city of St. Petersburg, it truly brings peace, love, comfort and joy to those needing it most this holiday season.
