Tax Reform & Legacy Gifting Panel Discussion

The Foundation established the St. Francis Legacy Society to recognize individuals who support the mission of St. Anthony’s Hospital with a planned gift. A planned gift may be a charitable remainder trust, bequest in one’s Last will and Testament or a charitable gift annuity.  In addition to recognition in the hospital lobby, society members are invited to special events.

With the changes brought about by tax reform legislation last December this is a good time to learn more about how legacy giving can have tax benefits. Join us on Thursday, November 8th from 11:30am – 1:00pm in the Hospital auditorium for a complementary lunch and panel discussion moderated by Emery Ellinger, Aberdeen Advisors and Foundation Chairman. Panelists include Michael Faehner, Esq., an attorney who specializes in tax law; Beverley McLain, Community foundation of Tampa Bay; Travis Brown, Sabal Trust; Anne Shaughnessy, Bank of Tampa; and Guy Van Middlesworth, Van Middlesworth & Co.

To R.S.V.P. phone the Foundation at (727) 825-1086 or Robert Sherman (727) 820-7816 or email Robert.Sherman@Baycare.org.
