Education equips a person for a life-time. We seek to educate compassionate and service-oriented health care professionals to keep our teams skills sharp as we introduce more advanced procedures and technologies.
The Foundation grants scholarships to qualified team members and their dependents (in some cases) to complete their education at a school of higher learning. Team Members may also apply for financial aid in attending professional conferences and seminars to improve their knowledge and skills. Finally, the foundation supports a unique program called “Earn as you Learn,” which enables non-clinical team members the opportunity to embark on a career in nursing by paying them while they attend classes.
Superior quality health care requires a competent and caring staff equipped with expert physicians. Education equips a person for a life-time. We seek to educate compassionate and service-oriented health care professionals to keep our teams skills sharp as we introduce more advanced procedures and technologies. Scholarships are awarded to team members attending an accredited college or university in pursuit of academic goals and careers in the medical field. Continuing education scholarships are partially-funded by the Mark Sheppard Trust and the Henry Lam Pharmacy Scholarships Grant.

“The Foundation has financially helped my family when they chose my daughter as a recipient for the continuing education scholarship. My daughter Bria was able to continue her education and pursue her master’s degree in social work. Proving her grades and commitment, Bria received the scholarship four years in a row! Thanks to the scholarship, she was able to take a smaller loan and not have to work while going to school. I’m grateful to be able to share my gratitude.”
