Our fundraising focus is to fill the void. Even fully-insured families do not pay for services the hospital cannot bill for such as pastoral care, resources and referrals for cancer patients and those with dementia. Our hospital provides $25 million annually in uncompensated care. Many of these residents might not receive the care they need without the safety net that the Foundation offers.
FLiP members act as an extension to St. Anthony's philanthropic arm to help achieve St. Anthony's mission: to provide health care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
Future Leaders in Philanthropy - FLiP - is a special donor group of the St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation where time and talent are accepted in lieu of a monetary donation. Members can give eight hours of volunteer service to the hospital annually and/or a monetary gift of $250. Members are invited to many social and educational events throughout the year where they may nurture relationships and their own professional development.
