Over $850,000 of Funding goes to the Hospital
Thanks to donors and grants, the Foundation was able to fund over $850,000 worth of new equipment, scholarships, and programs. Below is a list of what the Foundation provided the hospital in 2022.
- Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Equipment assists cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients with recovery to increase cardiac and pulmonary function through exercise.
- Baxter Starling Fluid Management Monitoring System provides a full hemodynamic profile within seconds.
- SonoSite SII for Intensive Care Unit assesses the cardiopulmonary function of the patient to determine fluid overloaded and direct the plan of care with either pressers or fluids.
- Earn as You Learn Scholarships were awarded to nursing and allied health Team Members.
- Behavioral Health Specialty Bed serves more medically complex patients within the hospital capacity.
- Prime Series® RRT Stretchers help ensure caregiver safety and efficiency while enhancing the patient experience.
- Blanketrol allows for rapid or gradual patient temperature management control.
- BIS Modules assess the level of consciousness and sedation and titrate anesthetic drugs to individual patient requirements.
- Tru D Smart UVC is a portable UVC disinfection system that delivers one automated, measured dose of UVC light to consistently disinfect a room during one cycle.
- Spiritual Care Items like chasubles, albs, and a chalice, replaced overused and broken equipment for celebration of mass, sacraments, and blessings.
- Imaging Monitor/Gas Module provides patient medical information that is accurate, mobile, and capable of downloading into our Cerner EMR system.
- Orchestra Bariatric Treatment Recliner provides a relaxing and comfortable recliner experience for patients and visitors.
- BayCare Medical Fitness Program provides 40 patients with 16 half-hour exercise sessions over 8 weeks, Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian consultations, Health Coach sessions, pre- and post- health assessments, and health technology support.
- Henry K. Lam Pharmacy Scholarships supported pharmacy team members who work at St. Anthony's Hospital continue their education.
- Azurion Upgrades for new Cathlab 3 provides the ability to do complex Interventional and Vascular procedures and 3D cone beam CT (Angiography, Soft tissue, Roadmap, Artifact Reduction, Vessel Analysis).
- Bladder Scanners assesses and measures the amount of urine retained in the bladder.
- EKG Machines provide the ability to assess patients' cardiac rhythm and determine if further treatment is necessary.
- Manometry Unit measures the motor functions of the esophagus.
- Short and Long Ureteroscopes allows the surgeon to visualize the patient’s anatomy better.
