Who We Are
The St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary is a self-governing organization, consisting of men and women whose mission is to provide financial support through fundraising and service to St. Anthony’s Hospital. Since 1949, the Auxiliary has provided millions of dollars in financial support of our community hospital. In this day and age when all of healthcare is big business, the Auxiliary provides a real connection of the community to the hospital that serves their needs. In addition to fundraising, the Auxiliary provides many hour of volunteer services and provides social connections for members. This ability to use imagination, enthusiasm, organization and tact to help the hospital is the essence of the Auxiliary.
The purpose of the Auxiliary is to aid, support and assist St. Anthony's Hospital in furthering the charitable and educational activities of the hospital and to conduct business consistent with the purpose and mission of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany.
